2014 Good Citizen Award Recipients with Regent Lynn Junell
The Mercer Girls Chapter of the NSDAR recently recognized the DAR Good Citizens winners for 2014. The students who were selected had the following qualities:
Dependability; Service; Leadership; Patriotism, which includes unselfish interest in family, school, community, and nation to an outstanding degree. Several local schools participated. The faculties choose seniors who had demonstrated, in an outstanding way, these qualities of a good citizen. Five students submitted essays with an historical theme.
